Our Story

Herd Sires

Females

Wilbar Cattle Co has been raising quality registered Angus cattle since 1963.

We are located in central Saskatchewan, near Dundurn and 30 minutes south of Saskatoon. Both our Black and Red Angus herds include historic cow families and represent decades of consistent commitment to soundness, fertility, longevity and productivity.

Annually we host a spring bull & select female sale at the farm. Over the course of its 20+ year history, we have been honoured to see our genetics work for top commercial cattlemen and fellow Angus breeders. The confidence of our many repeat customers is one of our most treasured accomplishments.

Your visit would be welcomed and we would be happy to visit with you about our genetics or to tour the herd.

A Family Operation

While Bryan and Tracey are currently at the helm of Wilbar Cattle Co, the herd was founded by Bryan’s grandparents, Jake & Bernice Willms. Their steadfast commitment to the breed culminated in the presentation of the 50 Year Heritage Award by the Canadian Angus Association in 2014. Several of the founding cow families are still represented today.

Tradition Continues

Wilbar has always been a true family operation and that tradition continues today, with Kylie & Owen representing the 5th generation on the farm.
